INTRODUCTION
This blog will be to document an imaginary underground wrestling promotion called Central Plains Wrestling. CPW operates a circuit consisting of towns along a Missouri Pacific rail route that runs from eastern Kansas to southeastern Colorado. Part of the route is defunct today and is now the Flint Hills Nature Trail (Osawatamie KS to Herington KS). The western part of the route is still an active rail line (Herington KS to Pueblo CO). The secondary part of the circuit will be along the Landon Nature Trail which follows another defunct rail line that runs from Topeka, Kansas south to Quenemo, Kansas. The promotion will have 2 shows weekly (1 a live TV broadcast and 1 a house show). The Central Plains Wrestling TV program is broadcast on VHF TV stations in Topeka KS and Pueblo CO and also on cable throughout the circuit. I am starting the promotion New Year's Day 1979. The championships for the promotion will be the United States Heavyweight Title, The North American Tag Team Titles, and the Kansas Heavyweight Title.
